[ARCHIVE] Boulder River Report 5/11/2020

Boulder 5/11: Cooler weather has dropped and cleared the flows. However, the tributaries like the east and west forks are likely dumping in off color water, so it’s best to fish the upper river now. March Browns and Caddis should still be showing up by the early afternoons on warmer days, so be ready to fish them. Once flows start to rise and get off color, fish bigger rubber leg patterns or a San Juan Worm. In deeper runs strip a darker body color streamer. Runoff will be here to stay if we get heavy rains or once it warms up again.
