There are so many places that we’ve missed going to during this time in our country. Here we’ve made a list of some of the iconic places in Stillwater County, close to Stillwater Anglers Fly Shop, that you should definitely check out while you’re visiting.
The 307 Bar, Grill & Casino
The 307 Bar is a full service restaurant, bar, and casino. They are a great place to grab a steak or a burger after Yellowstone river fishing. They specialize in Certified Angus Beef steaks and good hometown comfort food. If you’re looking for appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, great seafood, and more – that EVERYONE in your family will love, this is the place for you. They even have free wifi!

Uncle Sam’s has your classic American breakfast and lunch menu items that everyone will love. They have a daily lunch special that you don’t want to miss, and their sandwiches are outstanding. Grab a sack fishing lunch to go before your day of Yellowstone River fishing, that’s where we get them if you book a guided trip with us!

Bearstone Cafe
The Bearstone Cafe is one of our favorite places to grab a delicious “Montana style” breakfast to get you fueled up for a great day of fly fishing with your family. They have great specials every day for both breakfast and lunch, so make sure you check their social media pages to find out what home cooked style special they cooked up today. They are located just across the parking lot of Stillwater Anglers Fly Shop, so you can grab all the gear you need right after brunch.

If you’re looking for a unique and delicious culinary experience while still being casual and family friendly, then Wild Flower Kitchen in Fishtail, Montana is the place you want to be. They specialize in healthy cooking and thoughtful hospitality and each meal is prepared by gourmet chefs. Great for date night and family dinners too!
They recently remodeled, so be sure to check their website for updated hours of operation.
Cowboy Bar and Supper Club
The Cowboy Bar and Supper Club is a must-visit when on your Yellowstone River fishing vacation. A full bar and restaurant, we highly recommend a cheeseburger and fries after a long day of fly fishing – their the best in the county. Their ribeye is also tough to beat. If you want classic western comfort food, you’ve found it!
Located in Fishtail, Montana, their hours tend to fluctuate, so we suggest checking their FB page for closing times. Here are their posted hours at the time of this article:
